AGARTALA, Oct 6 (TIWN): Launching the bamboo rice, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has asked youths to proceed the business further with proper marketing.

He mentioned that this business needs years as only after 30 to 40 years, bamboo rices come out but it's very healthy item and also prevention of diseases.

"Glad to announce that Tripura successfully produced 'Bamboo rice'. Bamboo rice has more protein than normal rice and wheat. It helps to reduce joint pain, back pain and other pain. It also contains anti diabetic elements", CM tweeted.
