AGARTALA, Oct 5 (TIWN): CM Biplab Deb's much hyped "Nesha Mukt Tripura" stays only in words, as drug smugglers are building their high empire in reality. On Monday afternoon, Teliamura police seized huge amount of contraband items and mobile phone sets from Maiganga and Netaji Nagar Master para area. Police arrested seven persons in this case.

Reportedly, acting on a tipp-off Teliamura police led by SDPO V. Jagadishwar Reddy raided in Maiganga and Netaji Nagar Master para area. They seized huge amount of contraband items along with 13 sets of Mobile and one scooter.

Police arrested 7 people in this operation. The arrested persons were sent to hospital for medical checkup. Teliamura police took a case on it and started investigation to know the roots of this smuggling empire.
