AGARTALA, Oct 5 (TIWN): Resentments have been fueled among the State Govt employees of Tripura as there is no DA from last 31 months of the BJP-rule. Govt Employees Federation has strongly criticized the Govt over the attitude of the govt as previously, the Left Govt used to give 5% DA twice in a year. The gap between State and Central Pays remained around 50% of difference thus. Since BJP Govt has taken charge, massive pending DAs have erupted resentment among the Govt employees. Opposition parties leaders have lashed out the BJP over pending DAs after merely 0.32% hike in the name of 7th Pay Commission, While earlier, calling the Pay Commission as a JUMLA Commission, Congress senior leader Gopal Roy hit the BJP Govt, on 2nd anniversary of the BJP in state, he further has announced that at least 17% DA of the Govt employees are still pending.
