AGARTALA, OCT 3 (TIWN): Tripura BJP Govt's 2,1/2 years misrule resulted massive resentments across the State, regional parties INPT, TIPRA merged to trigger massive anti-BJP movements across the State before ADC election.
Indigenous Nationalist Party of Twipra (INPT) on Saturday, merged with The Indigenous Progressive Regional Alliance (TIPRA) and Tripura People's Front (TPF). Royal Scion Pradyot Manikya who is also the Chairman of TIPRA declared that the three organisations on today vowed to work together politically, socially and culturally.

 

A tripartite meeting was held in Shillong on October 1 and 2 where leaders from the three parties were present. On next day, after the meeting, the three party leaders i.e Pradyot Manikya, Jagadish Debbarma, General Secretary of INPT,  Pradyot Manikya, Chairman of TIPRA and Patal Kanya Jamatia, president of TPF in a joint press-release informed that they would work ideologically and for the people of Tripura.


They will work on NRC, CAA, identifying and eliminating illegal voters from the voter list, forest rights law, giving more power to the ADC (Autonomous District Council), direct funding to the ADC, restoration of illegally transferred land, the statement added.

A coordination committee will be formed with the leaders of the three parties to work jointly.

They further appealed to other parties and organizations sharing an ideology similar to theirs to come forward and join them and jointly work for the welfare and safeguard of the indigenous people unconditionally.

BJJ led Central & State Govt had created an economic blockade for Tripura, but now the problems under so called “zero deficit” budget of Chief Minister Biplab Deb are day by day increasing.

Hefty funds were misused from leasing expensive Helicopter of Rs 25 crores for CM Biplab Deb's luxary but poor people in hills to towns starving, remaining without any Govt help.
