AGARTALA, Oct 1 (TIWN): Sadar SDM Ashim Saha on Thursday organised a meeting with all the puja Committees, social organisations of Agartala to discuss about safety mojors regarding Durga Puja this year.
While addressing media SDM said, "We have organised this meeting today regarding the rules and norms that will be followed during Durga puja this year. Due to the pandemic there will be several rules and restrictions in this festive season. There are several rules and regulations to be followed in this year's Durga Puja to keep the festive atmosphere safe and sound. Some of them are like to provide hand sanitizers to every devotees, we have also asked the puja committees to provide masks to the people who will not wear it. The height of the idol should not be more than 10 ft and there will be no inn and out system so that the devotees can pray from far also."
