AGARTALA, Sep 29 (TIWN): Central Report revealed heavy Negligence of Health Dept' under Tripura Govt with Unutilised ventilators, Dysfunctional X-ray and CT scan machines, No Audit of Deaths, Non-existent waste management etc'

Two experts, Daisy Panna, Consultant Epidemiologist, National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), and P.K. Verma, Assistant Professor, Respiratory Medicine, Lady Hardinge Memorial College (LHMC) along with Union Health ministry’s senior regional director (Kolkata) Dr Satyajit Sen had visited the state Tripura on 11th September in a 10 days visit.
Based on Centre's report, Tripura High Court also has notified State Govt to clarify these matters,
"The Central Expert Team had visited the State Government and during a weeklong stay had inspected the coronavirus treatment centres and had submitted a report. This report has made various suggestions and recommendations for improvement of the coronavirus treatment.An action taken report shall be submitted before us on the next date of hearing", High Court order copy signed by Chief Justice reported.
The next hearing on it is on 5th October.
