AGARTALA, Sep 23 (TIWN): In a "Do or Die" situation for 10323 Teachers, massive Protests, Tussles with Police erupted today on Secretariat Road whereas many of the teachers were injured including Women in Lathi-Charge. But breaking all police barricades, the teachers have blocked the Secretariat. Police used water-cannons on them after they denied to leave the space. Today the terminated teachers came in massive protest before Secretariat followed by yesterday's Ratanlal Nath's press meet which has failed to assure the teachers about any job security whereas before the election, BJP had promised something else. To control the situation, police imposed "lathi-charge" on them but the numbers of teachers were so high that police could not stop the teachers. Today, police were seen unable to control the situation as the teachers were in mode of "Do or Die".
The teachers also said that BJP promsied 50000 jobs for the unemployed youths but now they are trying to get sympathy of the unemployed by pushing the unemployed behind us, whereas they also did not keep their promsie to unemployed youths.
