AGARTALA, Sep 19 (TIWN): Tripura Pump Operator's Association placed deputation to the Director of Panchayat, Rajendra kr. Noatia on Saturday. They mentioned about eight various demands in this deputation.

The demands included regularisation of the temporary employees, giving Salary in the first week of the month, increasing the amount of salary according to pay commission that the government has promised before, giving die in harness jobs to one of the family members of an employee after he dies etc.

The operators also said that they will place deputation to the Chief Engineer of DWS at 5 pm of today. They talked with the director of Panchayat and he said he will look after this matter and try to fulfill their demands.
