Amid Biswakarma Puja, gloom in idol makers lives

AGARTALA, Sep 14 (TIWN): Amid auspicious Biswakarma Puja, the idol makers alleged that no help has been provided yet from Tripura Government. Although CM Biplab Deb never gets tired to praise the development and help they are providing to the needy people in his speeches, but the reality shows the opposite picture.
While talking to media one idol maker said that they are worst affected by the pandemic as their business couldn't earn half of previous year's income this time due to the Covid crisis. In this pathetic condition they reached up to CM for help via Education Minister Ratanlal Nath.
He also said that Nath asked them to submit their adhar Card and bank details and told that they will be provided necessary help. But no help has been provided from Government's side yet. All the idol makers are in miserable condition and sought help from the State Government.
