AGARTALA, Sep 12 (TIWN): Tripura former Health Minister Sudip Barman on Saturday has briefed media about yesterday night's crisis situation in GB hospital and how the situation was brought under control with the help of Ratul Dey, one and only the Biomedical Instrumentation Engineer in Tripura. Talking to TIWN, the former Health Minister who took the lead role to save patients in GB hospital, which falls under his constituency has said, "Around 2 to 3 calls I had received in my phone from GB hospital. Patients, Doctors all were nervous, tensed as GB hospital's COVID-19 Centre's oxygen pressure downed heavily. Patients were suffocating and can't breath. They also called the officials but maximum of them had switched off their mobile phones and other did not pick up. I called the Biomedical Instrumentation Engineer Ratul Dey and thank God he picked up the phone and gave immediate response and rushed to me and both of us together had visited GB hospital".
"I have also seen that oxygen level were showing "zero" but as I am not expert in that field, Ratul Dey only handled the whole matter.Then I came out at 2.30 am and Ratul Dey was on spot for more time".
