AGARTALA, Sep 12 (TIWN): A person has been booked by AD nagar police for physically and mentally assaulting his wife. His wife filed a complaint in AD Nagar PS and immediately police arrested the accused.

Reportedly, a person identified as Tanmay Majumder married a woman from Kolkata two years back followed by a facebook affair. Later, he and his family allegedly started torturing his wife on everyday basis.

The victim also claimed that he is having extra-marital affairs outside. Regarding this he assaults his wife physically. On Friday night also, he came home intoxicated and slapped his wife severally.

The victim later filed a complaint in AG Nagar PS. Police immediately arrested the accused. The wife sought strict action against the accused.
