KAMALPUR, Nov 28 (TIWN): Rampant private tuition of some teachers has turned the only Govt. English Medium H.S. School of the District, into a den of monopoly of some teachers. Moreover, those teachers made the students bound to take private tuition to them. But the authority remained helpless in front of those teachers, held the posts of leftist teachers’ organization TGTA. Guardians and some teachers of the school alleged this.

Some teachers of the school openly practice private tuition at their homes. Corrupted teachers always try to keep their tuition students marks higher than the ordinary students, who has no fianncial strength to get much needed tuition.

Even in the subjects like Science and Mathematics, this practice continues. Even in the examination hall, when a student of their tuition fails to answer the questions, then those tuition-busy teachers help them by telling the answers openly or by giving them the answer paper of another student from the same tuition to copy. But, the authority remains reluctant about all these. Even some teachers of the school protested against this, but with no result as maximum of those teachers are portfolio holders of leftist teachers’ organization TGTA (Tripura Government Teachers’ Association). Now, the hopeless guardians are earnestly hoping for some remedy from top-brasses of Department.
