AGARTALA, Sep 3 (TIWN): The SSA teachers have alleged deprivation to honourium as teacher in charge and discrimination among regular and SSA teachers.
Allegedly, when holding Headmaster In-Charge or Teacher- In-Charge have been benefited with honorarium from Rs.300 to Rs.1000 but unfortunately, neither Rs.300 nor Rs.1000 paid to all the Teacher-In-Charge who are appointed TIC from SSA teachers.
SSA Association Secretary Bastab Debbarma raised question, “Only SSA teachers are deprived from the honorarium.Why are the differentiate between the teachers appointed as a Teachers-In-Charge from SSA and Regular teaching staff's??It is totally violated the spirit of RTE Act 2009 and "Equal work for equal pay".
He further requested Education Dept to look into the matter and to end the discrimination.
