AGARTALA, Aug 27 (TIWN): Opposition CPI-M families have undergone massive attacks, houses were attacked after the party held a successful vast rally in Agartala and simultaneously many protests it launched statewide on Wednesday.

In Udaipur, Chandan Das’s family was severely attacked where children to women were injured.

In Bishalgrah, various houses were attacked with petrol bombs. The houses of Partha Pratim Majumder, Santosh Biswas are included in the attacks.

In Khowai also massive attacked were witnessed.

CPI-M on Wednesday held massive protests with 16 points of demands as a part of nationwide protests and thousands of people joined in those protests. Following the successful protests these attacks are allegedly taken place.
