KHOWAI, Aug 26 (TIWN): Police at Khowai has stopped CPI-M protest and arrested all the activists.
When Police stopped the protest, arguments erupted between police and the agitators, after the agitators cited various gatherings held by the ruling party recently but no action was taken against them.

CPI-M is holding protests statewide on Wednesday with 16 points of demands as a part of nationwide protests.
In Agartala a massive rally was organized by CPI-M led by former CM Manik Sarkar and in other subdivisions also same programmes took places. Violence and clashes between CPI-M and BJP were reported in some parts.
