AGARTALA, Aug 23 (TIWN): CPI-M Party, which is just over with its tenure in the ADC successfully for decades and election is halted due to COVID-pandemic, has said that it demands “more power to ADCâ€.
Addressing media, ADC former CEM Radha Charan Debbarma said on the occasion of ADC Day that it is more important that ADC should be given with more power but not just about observation.
The Left Govt repeatedly sought more power to ADC and the then MPs also demanded in the parliament. Now BJP is in State Power and also MPs are BJP in the Parliament from Tripura. Today, on the occasion of ADC Day, CPI-M has once again sought more power to the ADC.
However, this power demand is also a long-pending demand of the regional indigenous parties of Tripura.
