AGARTALA, Aug 23 (TIWN): As a part of CPI-M Central Committee’s curriculum the CPIM Tripura observed ‘protest day’ on Sunday with 16 different demands for the public interest.
While adressing media a CPIM leader said, “The Central BJP governent has failed to provide security to the citezens of the Country during this crucial time of pandemic. The daily workers and the poor section is starving withou food. Thus we have placed 16 demands such as 7500 rupees and 10 kg rice for them upto 6 months, giving free ration to everyone during this time, providing essentials materials needed for cultivation to every farmers etc. we want the Central govt to put an effort on the demands and try to implement them as soon as possible.”
The protest day with these demands will be observed across the India till 16 august, said the CPI-M leader.
