AGARTALA, Aug 22 (TIWN): Leftist backed, the Joint Forum for Movement on Education Tripura protested against New Policy on Education (NPE) here in Agartala.

The joint forum held protests led by youths and also senior citizens alleging this Education Policy is divisive and against the equality.

Earlier also various protests were staged in the state centering this.

The Joint Movement also alleged that the Central Govt has not asked States’ views while making the policy.
