AGARTALA, Aug 18 (TIWN): 50,000 Govt jobs in first one-year was BJP’s basic promise to win the election in 2018 but while voting the young voters in the state never imagined that it was a ‘Fake Promise’ and no job is waiting for them, rather recruitment will be stopped with notification stating ‘Tripura has more employees than need’. In comparison to the previous Left era, the recruitment has downed above 80% and whatever recruitment is happening is contractual, unable to give a secure livelihood. Doctors, teachers, engineers, nurses even NET, P.hd qualified people are left jobless in state but in last 2 and half years not even 5,000 permanent jobs could be given by the BJP Govt here. Unemployment as per surveys has turned as the biggest problem in the state. The unemployment issue was the top priority of discussion for TIWN Editor also in his Sunday live.
Tripura CM Biplab Deb on 74th Independence Day said, "5,000 jobs from Agarwatti (Incense) business in Tripura".
Doctors, Engineers, B.Ed, NET, P.hd qualified unemployed youths are in search of jobs in Tripura and Govt Depts go dry in recruitment. But instead of announcing anything about recruitment, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Independence Day has announced that there are 5,000 jobs possibility from Agarbatti business in Tripura.
Tripurainfoway (TIWN) Editor Saumen Sarkar in his Sunday live from USA has hit the Biplab Deb Govt over various issues, among them the top priority was the unemployment. Hitting CM Biplab Deb and his Minister Ratanlal Nath, Sarkar said, “When CMIE data revealed Tripura at top position of unemployment and last time second, the Govt is desperately claiming for unemployment reduction even without giving data about the recruitments and job distribution based on which it is claiming employment generation. “When CMIE data topped Tripura, Ratanlal Nath saying the unemployment rate is only 5%. So question is whether public will believe them ? On the one side Ratanlal Nath is saying Tripura’s unemployment rate is only 5% and Biplab Deb is saying 5.5 lakhs of jobs are given. So there is no similarity between the fact and the reality. This is only fabricated data to put topis (hats) on public head”.
“Does the CM or his Minister Ratanlal think people are fool, when MGNREGA has less mandays, 10323 lost jobs. If you have given jobs to unemployed BJP youths, then give the data. You can fool people once, not again and again”, said Sarkar.
He further hit the Govt on falling Health services in state mentioning about COVID centers’ conditions, asking, “What is the achievement of Biplab Deb in last 2 and half years?”
Sarkar also criticized Chief Minister Biplab Deb for not standing beside Late Photo-Journalist Abhijit Raha’s family and condemned CM’s attitude was very inhuman.
