AGARTALA, Aug 16 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb in his I-Day speech in Khadi programme hyped Tripura is now Hira-Plus citing Agartala Airport is the second busiest Airport after Assam in Northeast but the reality is this is nothing new, but it was done under the previous Govt’s era, rather SpiceJet like companies stopped services under the BJP era.

Then CM talked about internet fibre connection, which was too a work of the previous Govt and under BJP Govt nothing was done.

When he was hyping about power-subsidy, but in reality, power charges were low under Manik Sarkar’s era and now it is more than double under Biplab Deb’s regime as power rates are increased .

However, amid all these, CM Biplab Deb has claimed Tripura is now HIRA-Plus amid National Highways, roadways miserable conditions due to lack of maintenance, although VAT was increased on fuel promising ‘smooth roads’.
