AGARTALA, Aug 16 (TIWN): On the occasion of INTERNATIONAL HOMELESS ANIMAL Day, Pawsome NGO held a mass Feeding drive for Stray Dogs, including Anti Rabies Vaccination Camps & Adoption of orphan stray Puppies.
“Anti-Rabies vaccination prevents the spread of Rabies in Dogs & also protects the humans from getting effected by rabies due to dog bite.So it benefits both animals & humans.The hungry starving dogs benefit from our nutricious food to quench their hunger & get a healthy life. Countless Puppies born in streets every year, most of which die due to road accidents or lack of food; so we always try to give those puppies for free adoption to human families so they can get a good life”, said the NGO member Avik Sengupta to TIWN.
“We vaccinated 60+ stray Dogs. We gave food to 400+ hungry stray Dogs & Organised for adoption of 11 orphan puppies on this particular event”, the statement added.
