PALATANA / UDAIPUR, November 25 (TIWN): As part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit preparation at OTPC Palatana plant, PWD Minister Badal Chowdhury, Information & Cultural Affairs Minister Bhanu Lal Saha, Youth & Sports Affairs Minister Sahid Chowdhury and DWS Minister Ratan Bhowmik met with MLAs and high level officials of Gomati , South Tripura and Sipahijala Districts . The meeting was held in the Gomati District Zila Parishad's No 1 Conference Room on Tuesday afternoon. In this meeting the main agenda was to finalize the number and places of vehicles likely to be used during the PM Modi's visit. IGP ( Law & Order) Anurag Dhyankar, District Administration officials, PWD,DWS, Health Dept. remained present in that meeting. Later in the evening Information & Cultural Affairs Minister Bhanu Lal Saha told TIWN over phone," As of now the tentative date for the Prime Minister's visit is on December 1. Today's meeting is a continuation of the ongoing process of preparations ahead of PM visit. Earlier also the concerned ministries held meeting to make this programme a grand success. "

In the meeting it has been decided that more than 2000 cars will be used for the transportation of 50,000 people who will gather in the public rally of the Prime Minister after the inaugural programme inside OTPC plant. The authorities of different private transport authorities also attended. 

As of now only the administration of Amarpur demanded 200 cars and Udaipur Motor Syndicate assured them to provide with these vehicles.

      In replying to question of TIWN whether PM Modi will attend any other programme at Agartala (State Govt has proposed three more programmes at Agartala ) ICA Minister said, " Prime Minister will attend only one programme in Tripura- at Palatana. We have made several proposals but the concerned departments of the Union Govt have communicated the state govt that at this moment it is not possible for the Prime Minister to attend all these programmes. However, as part of reciprocal gesture state govt has invited the Prime Minister for a tea party in the state Secretariat and till date it is almost confirmed that the Prime Minister will remain present on this programme to be organized in honour of the Prime Minister . "
