AGARTALA, Aug 9 (TIWN): Tripura Police did not permit the Trade Union’s protest which was to be conducted under “Bharat Bachao Divas”.

Due to COVID-19, no permission was allowed to the Trade Union.

However, Trade Union has raised question, why only in case of oppositions such steps are being taken, when on 5^th August in the name of Ram Mandir’s Bhoomi Pujan, a section of people held bike rally, where were police then ?

It also asked, where were police when ahead of Eid minority families were attacked ?

A trade union leader further questioned, when national policies are modified amid COVID-19, how the people would object on them if permissions are not given for protest ?
