AGARTALA, Aug 9 (TIWN): Along with the whole nation, Tripura Congress has also observed ‘Quit India Movement’ anniversary.
Talking to media, Congress President Pijush Biswas said that it is the Congress party which has freed the country from British and Gandhi ji’s role is yet up to the mark in today’s time.
“We can see that still discriminations are going on. Under Mahatma Gandhi’s ideology can free the country from all tensions, communal disharmony”, he added.
Biswas pressured on “Unity among Diversity” and said, “Congress is determined to fight against such communalism and to build a strong nation once again”.
