AGARTALA, Aug 6 (TIWN): Boudhjung Nagar Police have seized 2,064 phensedyl bottles in a massive raid.

The raid was done at West Chhampamura, where getting informed from secret sources these phensedyl bottles were seized from a 12 wheeler vehicle numbered RJ-09, GC-2681.

The drive was held in late-night 1 am today and the driver is too arrested red-handed along with another person. Police seized 2064 bottles of phensedyl along with other contraband items. Two persons identified as Shamser Singh and Satbir had been arrested by the police and they will be produced in court today.

Police sought 5 days police remand for the interrogation of the arrested person.
