AGARTALA, July 28 (TIWN): After Teliamura subdivision’s Mungiakami incident of Monday, where Govt team, DM were stopped from entering for COVID-19 surveys, in the same subdivision, one more incident has come out where Tripura Govt medical team faced rages of locals after they went there to do survey on COVID-19. According to the villagers, Tripura Govt team would lift any patient from any disease as COVID-19 patient and also they have a misconception that Antigen test is not good test and it shows everyone as positive patients. Door to door surveys started in Tripura before Govt might begin rapid antigen tests after selecting areas but the Medical teams, Asha workers are facing continuous problems in during surveys. However in town areas surveys are going on without much hurdles.

Nevertheless, when Health Dept workers are working day-night, there are also allegations against a section of health workers, as today photos have gone viral where medical team is not properly wearing masks, nor keeping social distancing during house to house surveys. A section of netizens alleged, ASHA workers only collecting ration card numbers and nothing extra is being asked.

With all these allegations, rumours, at the end, dedicated Health workers, officials are undergoing tough times to do COVID-19 surveys.
