AGARTALA, July 25 (TIWN): BJP’s ultimate testifying time is approaching for its pre-election promise to the 10323 teachers in the Vision document, as Supreme Court to hear the State Govt’s petition soon to recruit 10323 teachers in alternative posts. Tripura Govt has submitted affidavit to the Supreme Court with certain proposals centering recruitment of terminated 10323 teachers in non-teaching Group-C and Group-D posts. Reportedly, on 19th June, Supreme Court issued an order asking to reply on Govt’s outlook over the 10323 teachers. As per Minister Ratanlal Nath’s statement, Tripura Govt has submitted the reply, saying, “Tripura Govt would like to request Supreme Court to allow the Govt to recruit these terminated teachers in Group-C and Group-D vacant posts. If necessary, they should be given age-relaxation".

"In various depts’ recruitment, the terminated teachers would get age-relaxation while recruiting in the Group-C and Group-D posts. Direct recruitment of 10323 teachers in posts”, he said.

On 28th July, this case may be heard by the Supreme Court.

The 10323 teachers had lost their jobs in an order from the Supreme Court after the Court found irregularities in their recruitment process under the previous Left Government.
