On Thursday afternoon, CPI-M's indigenous wing TYF and youth wing DYFI's members including TYF state secretary Amalendu Debbarma, TSU district secretary Ratan Jamatia and other party members visited the victim's house. Talked with her family members.

 

Later the team met with Teliamura SDPO V. Jagadiswar Reddy and demanded strict and immediate action against the five alleged rapists.

 

Reportedly, on Tuesday the victim was returning home from Chakmaghat when she saw them. Two persons named Kashim Mia and Jahed Mia were in the car when they asked her if she wanted a lift home. Since the girl knew the accused, she got in their car but instead of taking her home, they took her to a forest near Khasiya Mangal area where they took turns to rape her. After she got into the car they called Ahamed Ali, Gani Mia and another one person to join them. The girl was allegedly raped in two cars, among them one was Maruti Alto (K-10), and the other one was a Wagonar.After the assault, the accused dropped the girl near UBI Bank.

 

The Teliamura police said that their search mission is still going on, and they will soon arrest the other two accused also.
