NEW DELHI / AGARTALA, July 23 (TIWN): Delhi Assembly has decided to proceed with action against Tripura CM Biplab Deb over his recently done comments over Sikhs, Jats brains. Addressing media, MLA cum Chairperson, Convenor of Delhi Assembly's Committee on Peace & Harmony Raghav Chadha said, “Our Committee had decided to take cognizance of the deplorable statements made by Tripura CM qua Jat and Sikh communities. Several aggrieved persons deposed before the committee".

"An urgent meeting was thus called and at first the members reached out to the people who lodged complaints about Tripura CM’s statement. All the complaints and issues were discussed thoroughly and then the complainants were called before the committee. Their views expressed seriousness over the statement which not only to break the peace and harmony but tension, discord will be increased along with hate”.

“One more complainant, appeared who does not belong to any of the community which CM mentioned. But still the 4th complainant from other community also said the same that this statement is enough to collapse peace of the society. Other complainants are from Jat and Sikh”, said Raghav Chadha.

Raghav Chada further cited examples, how the both communities are spread across the world and holding leading positions internationally.
