AGARTALA, July 22 (TIWN): Again Social distance rules are violated in IGM hospital. On Wednesday morning the violation of physical distance among the people standing in long queue has been captured by journalist's lenses. However, the hospital authority is least bothered to take the responsibility of it.

Reportedly, IGM hospital's emergency ward is now open for Covid-test. The patients who came for the test by their own were been kept standing in a long queue without following the social distance rule infront of the emergency ward. When a journalist asked one patient about the social distance, the patient alleged that no rules are been followed in the hospital premises.

He said,"I've came here to check myself for me and my family's safety as I am having mild fever from past few days. But after coming here I've found that no norms of social distancing or sanitization has been followed here. This can lead a huge spread of infection. I wanted to talk with IGM's medical superintendent but I couldn't find him."

Earlier also one security guard has alleged about the violation of social distancing norms in hospital premises. He said, "We have tried to make the patients understand for several times about how horrific the situation is becoming in the state. And in a sensitive place like hospital, chances of spreading the infection is higher. In such a condition, if they don't listen to us then there's nothing left to do." Said the guard.

However, the higher authority of IGM Hospital is not yet bothered to take strict action against this nuisance. When public have blamed the hospital authority, security staffs have blamed public over carelessness attitudes.
