Tripura Police detained School student for making fake Twitter account of CM, spreading rumours

AGARTALA, July 22 (TIWN): One school student was detained by Police in Tripura for faking CM’s Twitter account and to use it for spreading rumour. He will be produced before Juvenile Justice Board.
Recently, the boy created a fake twitter account of Chief Minister Biplab Deb and spread rumours that from 24th July, there will be lockdown in Tripura.
Addressing media, SP West Manik Das said that police have arrested the boy but as he is minor his name will not be mentioned, but police have taken the case very seriously. Police are suspecting that it may be a criminal conspiracy against Chief Minister Biplab Deb.
The West Dist SP also warned social media users not to misuse the social media tools.
