AGARTALA, July 18 (TIWN): Agartala battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of 21 Sector Assam Rifles and Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organized distribution of plastic table ,chairs,rations and essential commodities to Shree Maa Roti foundation,Khayerpur, Agartala on 18 July 20.
The distribution of distribution of plastic tables ,chairs,rations and essential commodities was undertaken as part of *Operation Namaste* to assist the Orphanage foundation during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The assistance drive was undertaken while exercising all COVID protection measures.
The commitment of Assam Rifles to provide necessary assistance to Orphanage was appreciated by all.
