AGARTALA, July 16 (TIWN): The IGM hospital's security guards alleged that even after trying to make them understand for several times, patient parties are not maintaining any rules of social distance.
One security guard while talking to media said, "Five to six people are coming with one patient whereas the rule is to allow one with the patient. If we stop them from entering they start scolding us. As GB hospital was closed for two days, all the pressure got imposed on IGM, resulting a huge mess in the hospital premises. Now if the patient parties are not cooperating us, what can we do?"
"We have tried to make them understand for several times about how horrific the situation is becoming in the state. And in a sensitive place like hospital, chances of spreading the infection is higher. In such a condition, if they don't listen to us then there's nothing left to do." Said the guard.
This erupted a situation of tension in IGM hospital. With every passing day the number of Covid cases is increasing. And if people don't follow social distance then it would be a serious threat for future days.
