AGARTALA, July 16 (TIWN): In the so-called 'Dimond era' of Tripura's BJP government, the residents of Kakrachara under Mungiyakami block in Teliamura Subdivision are not getting clean, safe drinking water for past few months. But the concerned authorities are taking rest in their offices instead of trying to solve one of the major problems of society.
According to the sources, most of the residents of Hajapara area under Kakrachara ADC village are from Riyang community. The residents are not getting pure water for many days as no source for pure, clean water is been established by the government yet. The villagers need to cross a long way to get water from a local well.
The villagers informed that they have talked with the concerned authorities about this issue many times. However, they don't receive anything except words until
now.
The crisis of pure water in ADC areas is becoming a common problem in the state since the past few months which is a serious threat for the upcoming days as the most three essential elements for living i.e air, water and food are at stake.
