AGARTALA, July 15 (TIWN): Expressing shocks over Tripura State Rifles (TSR) recruitment to be privatized in Tripura, former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has said such incident never happened in India’s anywhere earlier.

Sarkar also said, "Defence recruitment can never be in private hands".

“One way, it will increase corruption and in otherways, it will promote privatization but TSR recruitment in private hands will be the rarest example in country”, Sarkar said.

The former CM has totally opposed the idea.
