GB Hospital OPD goes shutdown for 2 days as Health Staffs tested COVID-19 Positive : Sanitization of GB Hospital buildings begins

AGARTALA, July 12 (TIWN): After Health workers tested COVID-19 Positive, massive sanitization drive has started across GB hospital. Reportedly, for 2 days this sanitization process to continue and OPD at the GB to remain shut for 12th and 13th July. Tension has increased further as Tripura has reported second COVID-19 death with the numbers of increasing cases and the deceased was admitted in AGMC that is the GB Hospital. Tripura’s COVID-19 cases is 1918 with 2 deaths. Tripura Govt has also imposed curfew from night 9 PM to morning 5 AM, banning all types of social and political gathering. 1372 patients out of 1918 were recovered, with a high recovery rate in state. Tripura Govt on yesterday had banned all types of political gathering and social gathering, although, the ruling party was seen violating the law.At the same time, from night 9 PM to next day 5 AM curfews to continue. Tripura has reported second COVID-19 death with the numbers of increasing cases.

Chief Minister Biplab Deb has confirmed this via tweet on Saturday late night, whereas the cases are also spiking up. The deceased was admitted in AGMC. 

Earlier, another patient had committed suicide inside the GB hospital, although, she has not been considered as COVID-19 deceased. Tripura's positive cases are also increasing and to touch about 2000. Tripura Govt has also imposed curfew from night 9 PM to morning 5 AM, banning all types of social and political gathering.

In Border areas 7 PM to 7 AM the night curfew will be continued. He said, Social, Political, Academic, Cultural, Religion, Entertainment gathering will remain Prohibited till the last order, asking people regardless political colour to understand the gravity of the concern. This decision came after over 150 cases tested in Tripura. The Minister said, these rules will be strictly followed without any compromise. Law Minister Ratanlal Nath added, "Don't come out of home without necessity. Enough we requested, but now strict actions will be taken. Help yourself, society and Govt to control the case. Everything is not under Govt's hands and that's why cooperation of people are needed". However, no emergency services will be halted, said the Minister.
