AGARTALA, July 11 (TIWN): In the border areas at the outskirts of Agartala, local people are left in suffocating condition due to increasing mafia led tortures on common. In a major development, mafias’ vehicle bearing number TR01AW0336 was caught and vandalized by local people. As a result, the expensive car is enough to identify the culprits behind this mafia-regime. Locals also alleged, the victim shop-keeper Hossain Mia Kazi was forced to give Rs. 2.5 lakhs before the last election.
On yesterday, police were informed about a clash at there where mafias vandalized a shop first seeking Rs. 50,000 from them and stretched Hossain Mia Kazi out of his shop and beaten him seriously.Police brought the situation in control and said, proper legal actions will be taken against the miscreants.
Talking to the locals, they said, “Mafias-Azarudinn and Yasin, accused persons of Dilip Ghosh murder case are disturbing us from yesterday. On yesterday, with revolvers the mafias attacked us seeking Rs. 50,000. As we did not give them that amount, today a shop keeper was stretched out of shop, beaten severely and vandalized the shop. They have given murder warning saying if we don’t give them money, they will come again and murder everyone”.
The local people have demanded immediate arrest of the culprits.
Recently, a former teacher among 10323 Swapan Sarkar was too beaten, his shop was vandalized by miscreants with same amount of Rs. 50,000.
