On this deputation they basically demanded for fair selection of the list in which the government has decided to help the artists who are in miserable condition during this pandemic.

 

One member while talking to media said, "The reason behind our today's deputation is to request the Government to help the poor artists who got affected economically during this lockdown. It came to know that the government has made a decision to help the singers and dancers by giving one time 2000 rupees. But as we have seen the list of those 89 people, the many of the actually deprived artists got missed from that list. Not only the singers and dancers, even the musicians, dramatists and stage organisers are actually in miserable condition. So we have requested the authority to take care of those artists."

 

He further added,"We have talked with the director, and he told us that he will pass our words to higher authority and he'll work on our demands as early as possible."
