AGARTALA, July 9 (TIWN): Agartala battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of 21 Sector Assam Rifles and Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organized distribution of Rations and masks to locals and labourers at Dhajanagar, Udaipur, District - Gomati (Tripura) on 09 Jul 2020.

The distribution of rations and masks was undertaken as part of *Operation Namaste* to assist the locals and needy people during the COVID-19 Pandemic. 100 Packets of dry ration and masks were distributed by Assam Rifles. The assistance drive was undertaken while exercising all COVID protection measures. 

The commitment of Assam Rifles to provide necessary assistance to locals at these difficult circumstances has been appreciated by all.
