Reportedly, when the patient Shukla Chakraborty diagnosed with a tumor she was been admitted in Bhowmik Nursinghome and undergone a operation by Dr Dilip bhowmik, owner of that Nursing home. And next day he asked the patient party to admit her in TMC as her condition was critical after the operation. She was admitted there for 44 days. And on Saturday morning the on duty doctors declared her dead.

 

Her son alleged that for the wrong Medicare of Dr Dilip bhowmik his mother died. He said,"My mother was completely okay before getting admitted in Bhowmik nursing home. How can a simple operation of a tumor made her condition such critical. I have filed a complain in local PS for the investigation on 5th June and they said within seven days they will send a medical team but no medical team or police even visited the hospital till now." 

 

The patient party informed that they already have spent more than two lakhs and now the hospital authority is threatening them for another three lacks otherwise they will not hand over the body to them, even though the family belongs to BPL category. This incident raises question on BJP Govt's Aushman Bharat project where economically weak people are promised to provide with good medical support at free of cost.
