AGARTALA, July 4 (TIWN): Serious allegation has raised against JPC Club Secretary for beating an AMC worker here in Agartala. Police station was gheraoed which created a chaos at there.

On being asked, the Secretary however declined the allegation. He said, the AMC workers turned violent on him and might be during the incident he tried to save himself but he never had beaten them.

The Club Secretary has been identified as Dilip Pal.

The attacked AMC staff is Kishore Das and in protest, the AMC workers have called Strike, seeking action against him.

However, Law Minister Ratanlal Nath has recently stated that nobody can be arrested for beating anyone. So, whether police will take action against him, it's under doubt.
