Statewide Rs. 400 fining imposition goes on for Not Wearing Masks

AGARTALA, July 2 (TIWN): Local administrations have started drives across the state to ensure people are maintaining social distancing and wearing masks.
CM Biplab Deb also urged public to wear mask and to maintain social distancing as fining is not the solution of the actual problem, announcing unmasked people to be fined with Rs. 400
Officials visited various parts of the city, market areas and those who found without masks were punished with 100 rupees fines.
Masks were also given to the unmasked people, making them aware to wear masks. Masks were made mandatory for Tripura along with the whole country due to Coronavirus outbreak.
