AGARTALA, June 29 (TIWN): Reacting over the malaria death of 7 years old child, Gopal Roy, former Congress President of Tripura raised question when the Govt will fill up the blanks in the cabinet?
“Tripura’s condition in COVID-19 along with the whole nation remains sensitive. State needs more testing but there is no activity much seen from Health Ministry. Sometimes CM tweets but these are about COVID-19 cases status”, said Gopal Roy.
Roy alleged, nothing is organized in Tripura administration because it lacks categorical, permanent Ministers in departments.
Tripura earlier had Health Minister, MLA Sudip Roy Barman, the only Minister who presented report card, but was sacked in party’s internal clash. Now the Health Dept is under CM Biplab Deb and anyhow is running via briefing of Law Ministry.
The Congress leader Gopal Roy has sought a permanent Minister in the Dept.
