TELIAMURA. June 27 (TIWN): As lockdown has prohibited public movements, lives of the deep rural areas’ natives are in miserable conditions. Specially, the Jhumia families are in much trouble as due to lockdown, they are unable to sale their vegetables. It was time, when on the both sides of roads, lots of sellers were seen seated and customers were available too. Mostly the travelers by cars, bikes used to stop and purchase these items but with the lockdown going on, the situation of the sellers are in tight condition. Mostly they are Jhumia families. The opposition parties had demanded a cash help to these families per month during and in the post lockdown periods, but no such move was taken by the State Govt or the Centre.
The victimized families have sought more MGNREGA works so that they can manage their family expenses.
