AGARTALA, June 25 (TIWN): Journalist was attacked in Kalyanpur.

The incident occurred around 9:30 pm on Wednesday night. Sajal Deb, a journalist in Kalyanpur was returning home after completing his professional duties. At this time drunken TSR, Apu Das attacked journalist Sajal. The reason behind this attack is still unknown.

Seeing this incident, the passers-by rushed Sajal Dev to Kalyanpur Primary Health Center. Later, Journalist, Sajal Deb filed a case against TSR, Apu Das under section 341,325,507,379 at Kalyanpur police station. Case No. 43/2020

 However, there are allegations against TSR(Apu Das) of stealing the sound system from the vehicle that was involved in an accident at Teliamura police station a few months ago. But no action was taken in his name as he was working in the police department.
