AGARTALA, June 24 (TIWN): Veterinary passed out students have been resented over Tripura Public Service Commission’s (TPSC) decision of not including ‘Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry’ as optional subject.
This issue aroused after TPSC published Advt. No 04/2020 for the recruitment of Tripura Forest Service Grade-II (Group-A Gazetted).
TPSC have not included "Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry" as an optional subject for the said recruitment process, whereas, this subject is included in the recruitment process of Indian Forest Service Examination conducted by UPSC.
Many aspirants who were preparing for Forest Service Examination, both IFS and State Forest Services considering it as an optional subject, are now in trouble.
Inclusion of "Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry" as an optional subject will benefit a large portion of aspirants; which will be proved problematic otherwise.
Indian Veterinary Association also had written a letter to the TPSC Secretary, but no response so far.
