AGARTALA, June 15 (TIWN): Tripura People’s Front (TPF) has conducted statewide movements today demanding appointment of Royal Scion Pradyot Manikya as the ADC Chief till Election is held.

At the same time, the party also demands to complete the NRC procedure before the ADC election.

“Without NRC, election will be totally unconstitutional”, said a TPF leader.

The party further slammed Governor for not appointing Pradyot Manikya as ADC Chief saying former Election Commissioner G.K.Rao is totally an unknown person to ADC and giving him power is undemocratic move taken by Governor Ramesh Bais.

However, no social distance was maintained during the protest programme.
