DHARMANAGAR, June 6 (TIWN): A meeting was held at Dharmanagar by All India Farmers Association, Tripura branch and CITU ,maintaining all the norms of social distancing. Also CITU distributed relief materials among the needy people.
The main reason behind this meeting was to discuss about the ways of surviving and fighting back against the most deadly attack on human race in last few decades, Covid-19.
CITU leader Sukanta Nath leaded the program. CITU Dharmanagar brunch secretary Harakumar Nath, Farmer's association secretary Ratan Roy and other officials was present there.
They have raised few demands in the meeting, such as
1. To get the swab test of every citizen of Tripura done for preventing community transmission.
2. To establish a laboratory where Covid-19 test can be done in every district of Tripura.
3. People who are not included under income tax, should be payed 7500 rupees for next 6 months.
4. Giving free ration to everyone for 6 months.
5. Abolishment of labour law should be stopped.
6. Including 200 working days under MGNREGA.
