AGARTALA, November 19 (TIWN): 12 hours dawn to dusk strike in Tripura on November 20, called by the opposition congress worried the ruling CPI (M). The CPI (M) is all set to strengthen their oppose to “Tripura Bandh”, whereas the Congress are in their way to gain success through their Tripura Bandh.

The Tripura Pradesh Congress on Monday called a 12 hour dawn to dusk strike in Tripura on November 20 to protest against the police lathi charge on party workers and to demand CBI probe into alleged corruption in many blocks of the state. But the CPI (M) had strongly opposed the bandh accusing the congress trying to create anarchy in the state.

On Tuesday the CPI (M) workers hit the streets of the capital city to oppose the bandh called by the congress, and held a meeting here at Sakuntala area to protest the strike.

It is, when the Congress came on a field to protest the recent corruptions and scams, and atrocities on women, the CPI (M) is on a race to save the left front govt. here at Tripura. The CPI (M) had already taken their steps in their own way to hush up every corruptions and scams that occurred allegedly under Chief Minister Manik Sarkar – the so called Mr. White. And here again it is one of their part that the CPI (M) had opposed the Tripura Bandh. Beside the CPI (M) deep necked in corruption might have taken another plan for November 20. The present scenario of the state had clearly highlighted the CPI (M) snatching every democratic rights from the people of the state and has framed a path to curtain corruptions and scams in Tripura, against which the protestors had already came to the field. The Congress Civil Disobedience Day on November 17 had opened the musk of the CPI (M), when the protestors had to fell victim on the hand of the police.

The more the protestors are getting ready to come to the field against the ruling left front deeds, the CPI (M) is getting more worried that are resulting them to take every necessary steps to hush up their corruptions and scams.

However, but it is to be mentioned here that it must be another worry for the left front here at the  state  that their exit door seems to be all set to get open soon. Beside as part of their hush up strategy the CPI (M) might be all set to deploy their CITU cadres on November 20  strengthen their oppose to “Tripura Bandh”, whereas the Congress are in their way to gain success through their Tripura Bandh.

The congress workers on Monday staged a civil disobedience movement demanding CBI probe into alleged financial transparency in some blocks. At least 50 congress protestors including the opposition leader Sudip Roy Barman on sustained severe injury on police lathi charge on the very day.
