AGARTALA, November 19 (TIWN): To maintain the clean image of the so called Mr. clean Chief Minister Manik Sarkar in the eyes of the people of the state, after the allegation made by the political parties regarding the direct or indirect involvement of Chief Minister in the ongoing 'Statewide Scam Festival’ the CPI (M) and the Left Front Government will conduct protest rallies all over Tripura on 12 point charter demands.

A section of people are saying that the protest on 12 point charter demands is a pre-planned drama by the big heads of the Melarmath to divert the minds of the people from the recent scams and other issues like atrocities against women, corruption, malfunctioning of PDS, chit fund, deterioration of law and order and underdevelopment of tribal people and deprivation of employees.

However, is was seen that police were able to arrest Arnab Chakraborty the prime accused of the Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhijan (RMSA) multicrore scam within four days from Kolkata after the FIR launched by the higher officials.

It is to be mentioned here that, for a month police was unable to arrest scamster Bimal Chakraborty the prime accused of Rs. 50 crore MGNREGA scam of Bishalghar RD Block. Why the police did not able to arrest Bimal while he was staying in one of his relative’s house at AD nagar, after the MGNREGA multicrore scam came to light. After a slumber of 34 days, the Bimal surrendered before the Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) Court on October 23rd last. Till now police are able to arrest only two persons involved in the MGNREGA multicrore scam and remaining nine involved persons are still at large.

A section of people of Melarmath are saying that so called Mr. clean Chief Minister Manik Sarkar is the master mind behind the scams and at present he is planning how to rescue his close aids and to cover all the scams to save his close aids. Due to strict restrictions of Manik Sarkar the police are unable to investigate as per law.
